With 27 years of experience, Vanessa Sinden is a multi-disciplinary producer and creative leader dedicated to pioneering original African stories for global audiences. She produced Africa’s most successful animated features, including Adventures in Zambezia, Khumba, and Seal Team, and led landmark collaborations with Netflix, Disney+, and Disney Junior. Her credits include Supa Team 4, the first African original animated series on Netflix; Kiya & the Kimoja Heroes; and the Afrofuturistic anthology Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire. Beyond production, she champions emerging talent—especially women—through initiatives such as Triggerfish Story Lab and as a founding supporter of African Women in Animation. Her work blends creative vision, commercial strategy, and mentorship to build sustainable pathways for African creators worldwide.
